People are gonna disagree with me but I really liked Garden State. Some of my other favorites are Safety not Guaranteed, Primer, and Jeff Who Lives at Home. I have always like the Lord of the Rings movies too.

I liked it but I thought they left it a little too open ended. I didn't like how that girl ended up being alive. I sort of liked the cliffhanger at the very end though.

I loved that movie the whole way through except for how Aubrey Plaza is like 23 and Mark Duplass is like 45. I don't mind cliffhanger endings but I thought it was awful how they made it seem like the time machine worked. The whole movie he's just some delusional loser who has an airboat and it becomes a time machine? I literally stood up and yelled no at the TV. I still love that movie, but I hate that ending

Don't take any opinions I have as saying yours are dumb. I just love talking about movies. To each their own

It just bugged me that they never showed that any hint that he was capable of building it. I get hung up on little things

That was my problem with the girl turning out to be alive. It made him seem like some kind of crazy pathological liar. Not someone who could build a time machine. It also took away his motive for building the machine in the first place.

It's interesting to hear a different perspective because I liked that she was alive. It made it feel like a guy who had his life planned out and then the plan changed and his life shattered making his motivation for the time machine was to to stop whatever mistakes he made. The romance with Aubrey Plaza (still kinda creepy to me), to me, got rid of his motivation for the time machine but it felt like the writer (I just looked it up, he looks like he's 15 and his only other credits are some tv movie and Jurassic World in 2015) couldn't figure out how to write an ending where they didn't go with the time machine. The time machine felt like a cop out to me where the characters couldn't face the truth of what was happening so they just ran (which literally would've been a pretty good ending if executed right) away in a time machine

Sports - Remember the Titans, Warrior, The Sandlot

Drama - A River Runs Through It, Ray (mostly for the music), Forrest Gump, Hero, anything from Wes Anderson (particularly Royal Tennenbaums and Life Aquatic)

Action - Independence Day, Casino Royale, Dark Knight trilogy

Comedy - Anchorman, Dumb and Dumber, depends on my mood

Sic-fi - Alien, Prometheus, whatever (I don't care a whole lot)

Ski - Idea, Teddybear Crisis, x=Ten, Hot Lunch

What's your opinion on the dark knight rises? Personally, I thought the dark knight was way better. The joker made the movie. In rises, I wasn't a fan of how pathetic batman was or Anne Hathaway as an actress. Not that bane wasn't badass, just didn't carry the movie

The reality is Rises was a good movie but Dark Knight was great on every level, with every character.

How could you not be a fan of Hathaway in that outfit?

Hahahahhaha I feel you, but I'm not sure i liked her as a character but I feel as if maybe a Natalie Portman would of played the role better. Although, I don't like how she saves the day in the end and she reminds me of princess diaries

This so hard in the ass, I could watch the dark knight everyday for the rest of my life and genuinely not get tired of it.

Also another one of my favorite movies is Forgetting Sarah Marshall, just cause I thinkJason Segel is hilarious
