If this is a repost, just link me and let this die, we all know how hard to use the new searchbar is

The second one is really cool, but clearly photoshopped, way beyond what I'd consider acceptable for a "photo"... therefore I wouldn't call it a photo so much as digital art.

Unless of course the photog used a super telephoto lens of a faraway tree but somehow it was wide enough to include the north star and he used some trippy dealio to freeze the moon while star trailing the sky...

Come to think of it, that could be done as a double exposure...

Ha I think its a complete joke of photography, if it claims to be such. Id still even consider it hoaky digital art.

I just enjoy it for what it is, sure it's processed and probably not real, but the end result is fantastic imo

Really? Ansel Adams and hipsters have nothing to do with one another... the former is an amazing photographer with a great eye for landscapes, and the latter is a recently formed coalition of metrosexuals.

I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.

^forgot to add (since people have asked previously), this is not an HDR. the only editing was the B&W conversion which included some minor work with the photos curves, but thats it.

I love what Ansel did for the B&W process, but I think his photos are mind-numblingly boring and repetitive.

Oh how little you know my child.
Hipsters in their vain attempt at knowing art all love Ansel Adams because he is a photographer just as they, with their holga's, are photographers. They feel a deep connection since both shoot film, not that silly data malarkey known as digital "photography" which is clearly impure.

My sarcasm detector must be a little whack, thanks for returning my faith in M&A. Also, to the above orange named post which I cannot remember the poster of, thanks for the lulz.
