so im packing up to leave to go skiing tomorrow. just wondering how long everyone's commute to the mountians is.

For me, i drive 3 hours 45 minutes to get to my cabin, and then it's another 45 minutes from there to get to the resort.

I'm leaving on the 6th, at 2am. 1 hour drive to airport, 2 hour flight (with all the waiting before that), 3 hours on a coach, then wait til the next morning to go skiing

10 minutes.

But it's just in the flatlands of Western New York.

It's 6 hours to get to real mountains.

15 minutes to kissing bridge, 45 minutes to holiday valley

if i could afford a private club i would go to buffalo ski club which is literally in my back yard, but its small, has no park and is like 2 grand to be a member

15 min to the shitty local place without a park

1 hour to catamount

1.5 to catskills

3-6 hrs to Vermont resorts, it sucks

i just misd the bus thats goin to take me up today. now i must leave at twelve and only get there at one. GAY!!!

1:15 - MT Creek (Good Weather)

1:35 - MT Creek (Bad Weather)

1:35 - Camel Back (Good Weather)

1:50 - Camel Back (Bad Weather)

1:40 - Blue MT (includes getting pulled over, but in good weather)

2:00 - Blue MT (Bad Weather)

30 mins to Bridger Bowl

45-50 mins to Big Sky/Moonlight.

All times may be cut down by 5-10 mins if you can drive fast aka meaning no traffic or icy roads.

at school 1 or 2.5 hours depending on which mt.

at home 45 minutes to 3.5 hours dependin on the mt.

where i'm livin in colorado with my sis, 20 minutes to 3 hours depending on road conditions becuase she has a stupid rear wheel drive 4 cylinder for ranger. grrr.

ive got like like 3 hills within a half hour drive. an awesome hill within 1 hour so its safe to say that i have it pretty good. then again i do live in ohio.

You live in the village? im jealous

hour ride to roundtop or liberty, i dont think 600 foot vert counts as a real mountain. 3.5 hours to get to some legit hills.
