Damn, nice timing, that lake looks cool!

If it was possible, I personally would have shot the photo lower to the ice to bring out that pattern in a bit more dramatic fashion. But that might not have been an option. Just my .02!

I definitely could have done that. I was having issues with focus and getting the right balance between ice and mountains. If i get to go back before the ice starts to melt I will try that out. I shot a few ice-level in landscape, but didn't turn out the way i wished

I've never really tried this before, any critiques?

I might stop down the image just a little bit to increase the depth of field. The focus within the image is not optimal so either the lens was out of focus or the depth of field was. additionally I might go with a slightly shorter exposure; the motion of the water was a little overpowering and the background was a tiny bit overexposed. All in all the composition was good though and it was a good image.

Looks to me like you could straighten it out without cutting out too much of the photo.

whats the story with the bear weed

There's a bunch of others photos in it. It's my first series but pretty much it's just a bear looking for someone to love it again hahah. There's tons of shots of it doing kinda childish activities and adult activities alone like playgrounds, climbing trees and even drinking alone in a bar.
