What was your best day of skiing ever?

Mine was today when I went up to the mountain and was surprised that the tram still wasnt running and it was 2 hours after the mountain was supposed to be opened.

Apparently last night it snowed more than 70 cm's and they were still doing avalanche control.

The tram started at 11am and I just skied the deepest powder of my life, every run for the entire day. Endless face shots, i couldnt breathe.

Thats what skiing is about. Lets hear your best stories.

theday during christmas break, when it rained really hard all ngiht, and the mtn was a sheet of ice, very windy and cold, i couldnt stop on the ice. it was amazing, i wish everyday was the same. :)

this one day it snowed for a couple of days at tremblant and we went up on the weekend. the groomed runs werent too bad..but nothing special..so we went a did this run called simon cooper.... endless amounts of drops to be found on that run....face shots all over the place....we did that run about 6 times that day...so much fun.

your right...thats what skiings all about.

those days in march when its sunny and plus 5 and you shred south side park all day at tremblant

definetely this most recent sunday...my mountain just got about a foot-and-a-half of fresh powder and on our backside...it was about waist deep...no joke

well mine was definitly over my februyary vacation when it snowed 34 inches at bridger, and it was my first day every skiing out west.

One day was when I was killing it really hard on all the rails/boxes that I was doing... until I broke a liguament in my knee.

Another day that I loved was when I did my first cab 360s!

whistler, earlier this year...powder day, bluebird skies and second tracks on west cirque, followed by one tree run after another...then bar hopping (which was awesome because in the states i'm not old enough)...epic

a couple this january, one with waist deep powder, and another with thigh deep powder when i manned up and did a nice double stager (15 feet+) into another drop like half a second later (like 10 feet). unfortunately it's not possible to combine those drops cause the inrun isn't smooth for long enough (believe me i thought about it). i had another day a couple years ago with 110 cms of fresh, and that was a fuckin dope day 2.

First Friday in February at Vail this year- Something like 3 feet of snow in 36 hours and it just kept snowing a few inches an hour non stop. There was nobody there either. There was so much snow that I wasn't sure I was going to be able to ski it at first. It was epic.

I was like 12, it was whistler and minus 30 with wind chill. Like 2 feet of powder, everyone but me, my dad, my sis(who was incredibly good at the time) were skiing boundary bowl and the glades over(peak was closed due to wind) and over again, there was nearly nobody up there.

Harmony chair was only a 5 minute line

we were suppsoed to get lots and lots of rain, i went go skiing, it ended up being just a light drizzle, it was just me, my brother, a few friends, and we had the whole place to ourselves, actually there were about 5 other people there but still, it wasnt crowded

I skied with aerosmith at aspen a couplke years ago, after the lifts closed they invited me to thier house and we did heroin for hours, then i fucked liv tyler up her ass while steve was taping it and singing dude looks like lady

in iceland last summer... it was the end of my trip and I didn't had the shots of the tricks I had been dreaming of for the whole summer it was cork/flat 3 critical and cork five double jap. On that last day, even if I had no energy at all when I was at the top of the inrun of the jump, I decided to give it all for one last shot and back to back I landed the tricks. I was so stoked. and at the end of the day, I jumped wetsuit on from a cliff of 20 meters into the water. One of sickest day of my life for sure...

my first day snowboarding out west i was at Park City and we got like a foot and a half (for someone from the east it seems like so much more) and just shredding all the pow and trees was epic. also the next day at snowbird there was still plenty of snow, no lines, and bluebird.

like last week when i was skiing with s good freind who broke his leg at the beginning of the season so it was like the first time i skiied with him all year. Also it was snowing really hard for the first time in a long time. And also my friend's cousin rode with us and i havent seen him in a long time.wow we got alot of fresh too

um cant remember prolly first day i landed a 540. 270 on. and did a few new rails. but this weekend was pretty good. on saturday night i was in my first comp (rail jam) didnt do good but won bindings during giveaways. then sunday in my second comp (slopestyle) and in 14 under won. (i won by fallin on a 540 and doin all the rails and boxes) then won a pretty cool beenie. then continued to ski the rest of the day and overall had a pretty good ski weekend

When I fell and my knee blew up like a balloon. That was great.

No. This January I visited Beaver Creek and it snowed overnight up to my knees and I was just skiing fresh powder and trees all day long and nobody was really even there. Then I did the same thing the next day.

I think it might have actually been this season. There was a great pow day this year that was super fun. It was like 10 inches on top of some more packed pow. I lapped this 800 foot face a bunch and usually only made 5 or 6 turns. It was such fast easy to ski snow. Soo much fun. I'll dream about that day til I'm like 80.

Two years ago, at fortress where it snowed 3 feet the night before, and it was snowing so hard that your tracks were no jokes 100% covered (you couldnt see them) by the next run. It wasnt crowded at all, and although it was puking like mad it was not windy at all. Then the next day there were bluebird skies and 3 feet of snow left over in most places on the mountain

There was some crazy snow being dropped at the hill. Ther was no one there cuz u like coulodnt see anything. I was like the only one. YEEEEE
