Young gun open part 2

ummm they had another judging table down right by the rails, so i'd imagine thye mattered. Some ppl did fakie 270 on, to opposite side 270 out. Some left side 450's then right side 270's on the next rail. Switch ups.
 
AM's only doesn't mean no sponserships. (Not sure who told you that) You could be on flow from a bunch of companies and not be paid or have a binding contract, and by no means a "Pro" Skier.

Therfore willing to drop an sponsers or hook ups you may have to sign with the new ones.

The point of this comp was to bring sick skiers, an oppertunity to jump up into the spotlight and be recognized on a new level.

If you have kids with NO hook ups at all, you wouldn't have a sick team at the end of it. You can't send kids to Orage Masters that can only throw 7's and 5's. Kids who are good skiers are most likely going to already have some people hooking them up...uhh cause there good?
 
yah but those kids who are already getting recognized by other compnays should give some lesser (but not neccesarily worse) people a chance to get some recognitiom
 
agreed, but it is also an oppuritnity for people that are being recgonized to get trips paid for and shit soo more power to them
 
Winner was already sponsored by Liberty (see pic) but that doesn't seem to matter to YGO. It's a good comp anyways.

i really dont see how kids can be confused about this....half of the kids in that comp were already sponsored...nothing about the comp EVER said you couldnt be..the whole point was to not have established pros in it, thats it. If someone like Ramaley for example was competing and not judginig, than you would have a point...but none of the kids who entered have established careers, regardless of sponsorships...think about what they are competing for..do you really think a kid who is just doing 3's and 5's deserves to compete in the masters and get flown all over the place and coach all summer at camp of champs? Matt is exactly the caliber kid this comp was designed for, and everyone should be stoked for him for winning because he deserved it. Quit complaining!
