i was coming home from skiing at abasin. and on i-70 about a mile out of georgetown i saw a bugatti veyron. i flipped out. it was so beautiful. i have never seen anything like it. and for those of you who dont know what a bugatti veyron is. google it
 
i swear in my soul, my future children, my grandparents everything i love i saw a fucking bugatti veyron on interstate 70. i saw it

I fucking saw it. i was with my 46 year old father who will fucking coraberate. i know what i saw. i saw it for a solid 5 seconds. I SAW IT. i dont know how else to prove it. im made the thread because its so fucking rare and i was in shock of seeing one for like an hour after seeing it. someone tell me how i can prove i saw it. i wasent holding a camera so i didint get a picture
 
what color was it? cause they did test them up there since the altitude takes away close to 50% of the cars power
 
Definently. Its top speed hasnt been explored fully as far as I know, but it has beat a Mclaurens speed of 242mph. It has TWO side by side V-16's for gods sakes. Its a staggering car, a record breaker that pushes what a car can be past anything it ever has.
 
i saw some like... 17 year old driving a bentley gt on the way from seattle to vancouver last week, that blew me away.
 
Heres some facts about the Veyron:

-Speed: If lined up with a Mclaren F1, and the Mclaren can get a headstart to 120mph, the Veyron will BEAT it to 200mph.

-Fuel: It has a 100 liter tank. Gas costs about 1.25$ per liter in Europe, so about 125$ to fill it up. After 12 minutes of running this car flat out, that 100 liters will be gone.

-Brakes: If you need to stop while going at 250mph, you will come to a halt in 10 seconds. Mind you, this whole process would cover 5 football fields.

The Konigsegg is a cool car, but seriously, nothing has ever been made like the Bugatti Veyron, and nothing probably ever will be. The Bugatti actually COST Volkswagen about 6 million to make and sell. Theres literally no way for them to turn a profit on these things, and there are so few buyers who have the money and the interest that only a few will ever be made. True, the Konigsegg is more practical, but the Bugatti is one of a kind, a milestone and a benchmark which will probably stand for the next half a century.

i believe you, i saw one in the back roads of my town one night in like february when i was coming home from getting pizza. im still suprised that i saw one, especially in my town.

but to be fair, i do live in a very rich section of MA, and the car was headed to EMC i think
 
The energizer in the Veyron is a WR16 displacing 7998cc and turbocharged with 15.8 psi of boost. You can think of it as two Passat WR8 engines put together and pumped up by four turbos.

haha i was up in province town in massachusetts and some queer guy had a ford gt. i thoiught that car was pretty sweet but the guy was a total douchebag about it
 
welll.. last year i went to a lambo and ferrari show and race at limerock and on the way home (for atleast an hour) the enzo that was there was following us.

like i mean seriously following us, when we passed a car, he was right on our tail passing that car too.

i wish i brought the camera that day.. sooooo many nice cars
 
yeah dude ive seen 2 ferraris and a lambo around here too. the lawyers office in holliston used to have a murcielago and a 911 gt 2
 
i live on a street with 5 houses. one day there were 2 lambos on my street for a couple hours. i dont see many ferraris around here, but at the golf course i play at i see great cars all the time
