You think the republican nominee will make ron paul vice prez so he doesnt go third party?

i was talking to some people about this. ron paul as vice prez would be so good for america...no matter who is prez. i doubt obama will get reelcted, but i really dont care that much. if ron paul was vice that would be killer

Him being vice president wouldn't do shit. Assuming Mitt wins the nomination, however, picking Ron Paul as his vice president would most likely help him gain votes
 
Not going to happen. And Ron Paul won't run third party even if he did who cares his showing in the primaries has been so pathetic he is less than a threat he's just a nice old man..
 
yeah also, if paul goes third party, obama will probly win. so i hope paul goes third party forcing the republicans to make him vice.
 
i dunno, ron pauls following is die hard and if he 3rd parties he will get about 10 percent of republican/independent votes. that happened in 92 when ros perot 3rd partied and fucked bush senior out of reelection.
 
I think he should go 3rd party. I'd vote for him. If he gets 5% in this election, the libertarian party will get federal funding for the next presidential election which will help with recognition for the party a ton.

So I want him to go 3rd party. It's where he belongs anyway. So awkward watching debates.
 
Ron Paul would never be VP of someone like Romney or Santorum or Gingrich. Hes an actual conservative, none of them are.

And if he runs third party hell pull a Ross Perot and just take votes from whoever the Republican nominee is, split the ticket, and Obama will win. Though honestly, Obama is gonna win anyways.

I mean shit, he stood up in congress and talked about specific pieces of the coming economic shitstorm. Panels of experts laughed at him. A few years later the things he said would happen happened but how could anyone have seen it coming? Now even after that people are still to spun by the mainstream media to open their minds just a little bit.

At the same time why the fuck would he accept vp under some asshat president?
 
The republican establishment dislikes ron paul so much that he would never be picked as VP. it will probs be someone like Christie or Jed Bush
 
Theres no fucking way any nominee would pick him as a vp, some of his views are so diametrically opposite theirs that it would be like the runner up in the general being vice to the winner. I think it's a possibility that either Gingrich or Santorum will cut a deal with Romney as the convention ends that involves possibly a vp slot. But I doubt it, because of the negativity so far in the campaign.
 
equally probable. Plus he doesn't even have a political reason to suck it up, because hes old enough to be unable to use it as a possible stepping stone.

He's not using anything as a political stepping stone based on principals. IF that's what you're looking for look at the majority of the candidates in every election. Talk shit about these people, then be nice to them to get the hook up, same you like this, then say you hate it, politics these days is shady as fuck.
 
sorry, I was thinking about putting that in, but just decided not to. I know he wouldn't do it anyway.
