were those a bunch of accountants or some shit? no comparison at all to jimi. maybe the guys cheap, wow pedal tricks blinded you from how really boring and plain those songs were.

maybe its not interesting to you because you have no musical knowledge. And those "pedal tricks" actually cover up a bit of the complexity of his music. i bet if i asked anyone that was even slightly listened to blues they could easily agree that Jimi Hendrix had allot of influence in this music. if you dont like it, shut the fuck up

i think this is not on the same level as Hendrix in any way. That doesn't mean that he's not good at guitar, because he is. He is good at soloing which isn't jimi's style either and i feel it safe to say that there are literally hundreds if not thousands of people who can jam like a gnarwhale. idk, my opinion, RIP Jimi.

aha sorry dude but im sure I have a much more knowledgeable and in depth understanding of the influence jimi hendrix has had on music. you think he only influenced blues because one of his studio albums is entitled blues.
and its an open forum, I can post my opinion about anything I want bud. you posted this with the intent of having people express their views about it, I did, and now you bash me for it. fuck yourself kid go back to youtube.

i watched the first 30 seconds, doesn't compare

the blues came way before jimi hendrix's time, do some research on jimi hendrix, cream, the beatles. learn about where they came up w/ the sound they had. that sound came out of the late 40's and early 50's. jimi hendrix was and is the #1 guitar player of all time. the only thing that comes close to his sound is people copying his sound. and people copying his sound just doesn't sound right bc it will never be as good and raw as hendrix. watch some hendrix dvds gives you a whole new appreciation.

btw anyone read the artcle on hendrix in rolling stone a couple years back? guy was talking about how the time he saw hendrix was at a cream show in london or something and hendrix was playing with them. can you imagine how riddiculous that show would've been?

That wasn't very good.

and the singer looks like a mix between Lewis Black and Philip Seymour Hoffman
