You know your riding east coast when..

when your hips are so bruised from falling in the ice
I have to say tho- we are getting another 8 inches on top of 44 so far- in fucking pa
this would happen the year before I got to school out west

when the lift takes longer than the ski ride downwhen you have to build jumps because your ski area has no terrain parkwhen powder slows you down so much you have to push your way down the mountain because the trail isnt steep enoughwhen everyone knows each otherwhen you have douchebag ski patrol

Dumbest type of threads. Deal with what you were giving. Skiing is skiing. I ski shithole mountains and love every minute of it.

Your riding the chair lift on a powder day and hear skiers say "it'll be much better tomorrow after they can groom all of this snow"

Its a epic powder day yet kids are still hitting rails and jumps.

Although hilarious, this thread makes me slightly regret my decision to move to the east coast for a year.
I make fun of people that say its a powder day when there is less than a foot of new snow.

At least my impact shorts will start getting some use.

your riding your turf set up in January

your pumped to ride 4 inches of pow

your rail game is sick but cant spin anything 35+

your supposed to get 10 inches over night and wake up to a green yard

your back yard set up is set up nicer that your home mountian

you can build just as nice jumps without a cat

rail take offs are used as jumps

theres a question mark after they say snow on the 10 day

1 1/2 feet would basicly shut down the town

2 feet gets you 2 snowdays in a row

there are no urban rails what so ever

doing "rotations" make you the best skier on the mountian

you ride man made snow untill january

2 trails and 6 rails opening day is SICK

early december is "an eraly start to the season!!!"

20+ days is a good year
