You guys remember how during the winter we used to get snow?

This is getting insanely ridiculous. East cost is suffering BAD, and everywhere esle stateside is hurtin somewhat also i believe. I mean... i can't remember the last time I drove out to my home Mountain mid Feb, and see no trace of a snowbank whatsoever.

I've been holding back, but now i'm going to explode. Where are the glades?

Where are the snow plows that are annoying as fuck to pass?

Where are the snowy parking lots begging to have donuts in them?

Where are the 5" east coast pow days?

Where is that annoying little fuck that pummels me with snowballs whenever i leave my apt?

Are we fucked for the rest of the season or what?

I live in mn and usually we have a shitload, but this whole season we have notbeen over 3 inches( which happened for about a aday and then melted)

i don't know what it is but this year is just not good

after hoping for weeks that the cold weather would show up (still getting occasional 50 degree days here in CT), i've given up all hope for winter and now just want summer.

Seriously though man, I know what you mean. I'm over on the east coast too, and there's absolutely no snow in my yard. Just all grass. It literally makes me sad when I look outside and see no snow. At least my home mountain was able to make snow the past few nights, and they already have all their trails open so it's still fun to go and ski.

This is just the season of a man made winter. Woah, that should be a movie title for this season: Man Made Winter.

Sorry getting sidetracked there... that's my ADHD for you.

I really hope next winter is just cold and we get dumped on all year. If next year was as epic as last year, I feel like that would make up for this crappy winter.

It really bugs me too when people who don't like winter are like "well I'm glad there's no snow"... if there is completely no snow that means something is wrong, and not something you should be glad about.

My grandfather was saying that in years past when there hasn't been snow, there is usually a drought throughout the spring. Lets hope not. That would be terrible for crops and everything.

Our season total is about 4 inches. The closest I've had to skiing in fresh snow was when our resort had all the snowmaking Guns on. I'm just hoping there will be at least one real storm before spring. It probably won't happen but I'm still dreaming.

To be completely honest this is the worst winter ive ever experienced, and ironically enough it was the one i was looking forward to with the most anticipation. I mean there is no snow ANYWHERE where i live and my local hill is a complete sheet of ice and just isnt worth riding. at this point i have given up and just want it to be summer.

I had all of this this past weekend at seven springs in pa. It snowed non stop from Friday to Sunday evening. So great to finally ski some glades and get away from park for a weekend.

I lasted up to the 2nd or 3rd sentence...

"Well it’s been a month to remember over here in the Austrian Alps. The new year brought in a monster storm system that pounded along the entire length of the Alps, bringing as much as 5 meters (15 feet) of snowfall in some areas."

... and then wanted to kick you in the balls through the intrawebz. But nah, that is epic.
