You evenutally should move on with your life and give up skiing

You don't have to have a life style like that, a lot of successful people have hobbies they do on the free time they get.
 
i think i agree with you... a first? but i also completely see what op was going for and you nailed it. skiing is just a hobby and evantually you just have to move on from skiing as much as you used to. as i say this, i am still young
 
Look at Tom W he is a on a tight sched between competing and filming, and he is going to college at the same time. If your good, you can deal.
 
here we have a kid trying unsuccessfully to act much more mature than he actually is. keep trying buddy, you'll get it.
 
I feel sorry for you if maturity entails the complex realization that skiing and partying are not sustainable lifelong habits. Jesus dude.
 
Haha that's impressive. I guess I phrased that wrong, its more of a personal opinion. Yes it is possible, but I'd agree with OP in that there is more to life than the ski bum mentality.
