Neither do I but I find it very odd that the guy is obviously jumping from the chair. I wish they encouraged such behavior at certain resorts. I know it's encouraged at vail, specifically without pants on.....

You guys are all wrong. This is a new safety feature that prevents people from falling off the chairlift. All chair lifts will have to be retrofitted to include this feature. It is called the AssHolder! Early prototypes were only semi-effective:
