Yo NS! What earbuds do you guys use to listen to music on the hill?

I'm in the search for the perfect pair of earbuds. I have two that I am stuck between using, and I want one that has the best of both. So, i'm looking for suggestions. Here's my deal:

So, the apple earbuds you get with a phone sound great, but are super uncomfortable, don't stay in my ear at all. I only use these when sitting or studying. I can go run with them, or ski with them, because they fall out continually and give me a headache because they feel like little pieces of gravel in your ear.

Now, I have another pair, that have the squishy things or whatever on the end, and they are really comfy and stay in just fine. However, they sound like shit compared to the apple ones. No base what so ever. Also, in the cold, their thin wires get really stiff, basically turn into uncooked spaghetti, so I can't ski with them :(

So NS, can you hit me up with a good pair of earbuds that sound great, don't freeze, and stay in your ears? Preferably the squishy ones. THANKS!

i actually think those new ones that apple came out with are way good

Oh yea, they are really good, but they don't stay in my ears at all. I think my ear is shaped funny or too slippery or something

Yurbuds inspire. They're guaranteed to never fall out of your ear and they're the perfect hybrid between the new Apple headphones and the funky circular rubber ear buds that I can never get to stay in my tiny ear holes. seruously great product both for running and for skiing.

i got a pair of kicker earbuds for free in a raffle and they seem pretty good, not sure how much they are but you should look into them!

Cheap shitty ones.

For over the ears assorted skullcandy ones I got for free buying snerrberds online over the years and for the buds just whatever the hell I have lying around.

I really don't care that much as long as they're comfortable.

Also, can't rock headphones ever again probably thanks to my brain being fucked so it doesn't matter. I buy headphones like I buy sunglasses, cheap as long as they're decent. Then if anything happens I don't worry.

Whatever the $15 Sony ones are at target. The sound quality is very good and they went through the wash once accidentally but nothing happened to them.

I personally like the newer apple ear buds but if those don't stay in your ears, the skullcandy chops are pretty nice and not too expensive.

Any idea if any one these buds' cables will freeze in the cold?

Just get dollar store over the ear headphones like the ones that used to come with walkmans. Stick them under the helmet padding or hold them in place with your goggle strap. They are better than earbuds because you can hear what people are saying and if they break it only costs a dollar to replace.

I'm not looking for durability or price or anything, I just need a pair that won't freeze, won't sound like crap, and will easily stay in my ear

the top few inches of cable is memory cable so it wraps over the ear and helps stay in place. They fit pretty flush in the ear so theyre good with helms/goggles w.e.

Unlike others, I like to buy expensive because I know I will take care of them to get my money's worth. I've had Bose Freestyles for the past couple years. Super comfy, great sound.

I like the samsung ones, they are sumilar to the apple ones, but have rubber on them.

Or use the skullcandy ones that wrap around ur ear they are good too.

Holy shit for 70$ these better sound like gold

hahaha for sure

i have some marleys for like $30 and they sound great to me, but i don't have much to compare them to

for less than $50 i would say the sony xb50ap are winners. clear highs and mids, powerful, yet not overly boomy bass.

if you want to spend a bit more, you can buy the xb90ap, which is the better japanese only version of the headphones above. they go for around $100 and are easily found online.

after that there are obviously much nicer options, but i wouldn't spend more than $100 for headphones that i will use on the hill.

I use these, they fit really well, have the best sound for under $100, and will not fall out of your ear.

They also have a removable cable from the earbud itself, so if the cord ever gets fucked, you just buy a new one.

Both of the Outdoor Tech wireless earbuds are nice. Have the Orcas now. They sound nice, but they only last around 5-6 hours if playing music. Not an ideal time if you ski a lot.

jaybird bluebuds, they are wireless, fit in your ear really well and they hold a charge for about 10 hours listening at 60% volume
