I am planning to buy the line blend 2016. i have ran into a pretty good deal and now i need your help in deciding which height i should go for...

i am 175cm tall...

i weight 67.7 kg...

i am sixteen...

i havent grown much in the last 2 years...

i am an advanced skier that likes park/offpiste/piste... (all mountain skier)

i ride also a lot of pow...

I want my blends to be playful and controlable.

they are available in the 171cm and 178cm version.

Should i go for the smaller, or bigger one?

For sure 178s.

You will enjoy the extra length and even if it takes a couple days to get used to riding a longer ski will make you a better skier.

I would say 178. Especially your height on a slightly soft and early rise ski like the blend. I'm a 168 and I'm 5"6 and its to my head which is what I want, not necessarily good for everyone but the 178 probly won't even be to your head. You will dominate the 171 too much and you will want the 178 for more stability

171cm if you're getting all mountain skis. thats the length i ride for my all mountain skis and I'm 5'8". So 171 is the way to go.

well it works for me so...

snowblades work too but op isn't going to want to ride a 171cm ski for all mt when said ski is a complete noodle with rocker.

I'm 5'9" and rode the 2009 blends in 183 that had camber and were stiffer this season, even with super sloppy bindings they were plenty maneuverable. 178 will be fine for what OP wants.

either work. i compete in big mountain comps as well as slopestyle, skier cross and rail jams and i use the 171 skis and they are completely fine. no need to freak dude. lol

everyone feels skis differently because people use skis differently. sometimes a shorter or longer ski better suits someone because of that persons riding style, even if traditionally its not the right size for them.

thanks for the help. +k for everyone!

i decided to go with the 178, since my last ski that i bought was also slightly bigger than myself. so i'm used to riding big skis.
