Haha, this is the Washington Post's rewrite of the Boston Globe story. When I looked at the page, the ad to the right of the story was selling "Converative T-shirts," it featured a hot chick wearing a shirt declaring "IMAGINE... NO LIBERALS." just thought that was a real nice touch.

The president allegedly has disobeyed more than 750 laws enacted since he took office, including military rules and regulations, affirmative-action provisions, requirements that Congress be told about immigration services problems and protections for nuclear regulatory officials, the Boston Globe reported.
Some legal scholars say they believe that Bush's theory about his own powers goes too far, the newspaper said.

"This is really big, very expansive, and very significant."

On page two of the article its stated that the "signing statements" are on record in the federal register. if that's true, sounds pretty goddamn legit to me.

i just read that article and i can't believe bush is getting away with this. here's some good quotes from the article:

In the amount of time they had of warning before we showed up they could have easily hidden pretty much ANYTHING they could have had.
