Today I started to like him some more, he appeared on TV with an impersonator from the Colbert Report, and let him make fun of him during a speech.

are you retarted? like do you seriously have a mental problem? your guffawing his number of posts. ha wow.

^^ glad i was born late enough that i didnt have to worry about voting for him because of my family's republican status.

Haha, this is the Washington Post's rewrite of the Boston Globe story. When I looked at the page, the ad to the right of the story was selling "Converative T-shirts," it featured a hot chick wearing a shirt declaring "IMAGINE... NO LIBERALS." just thought that was a real nice touch.

here's the Post story:

U.S. President George Bush is aggressive about declaring his right to ignore laws he believes infringe on his power as commander in chief, a report says.

The president allegedly has disobeyed more than 750 laws enacted since he took office, including military rules and regulations, affirmative-action provisions, requirements that Congress be told about immigration services problems and protections for nuclear regulatory officials, the Boston Globe reported.

Some legal scholars say they believe that Bush's theory about his own powers goes too far, the newspaper said.

"There is no question that this administration has been involved in a very carefully thought-out, systematic process of expanding presidential power at the expense of the other branches of government," Phillip Cooper, a Portland State University law professor, told the Globe. "This is really big, very expansive, and very significant."

Actualy, Im atheinist and I couldn't give a shit about religion.

Bush rules, be doesn't follow laws(tyrany). Who about the Pariot act? Easdropping on people's conversation without warrant nor motive? I dunno, it sound pretty unconstitutionnal.

His wars, he jumped in Iraq without a plan nor without the UN's go.

I implied theocratic because he backs up most his arguments based on religious beliefs. He implies God in every speech.

You have simply made an illusion to bulling, Im talking about a tyranical rule based on religion.

I totally forgot about cake walks... man I miss those they were so easy to get yourself a nice tasty cake

i usually get the urge to go hit my head against the wall until i black out when i read posts like this. regardless of subject matter.

i just read that article and i can't believe bush is getting away with this. here's some good quotes from the article:

“David Golove, a New York University law professor who specializes in executive-power issues, said Bush has cast a cloud over ''the whole idea that there is a rule of law," because no one can be certain of which laws Bush thinks are valid and which he thinks he can ignore.”

''This is an attempt by the president to have the final word on his own constitutional powers, which eliminates the checks and balances that keep the country a democracy," Fein said. ''There is no way for an independent judiciary to check his assertions of power, and Congress isn't doing it, either. So this is moving us toward an unlimited executive power."

Bruce Fein, a deputy attorney general in the Reagan administration, said the American system of government relies upon the leaders of each branch ''to exercise some self-restraint." But Bush has declared himself the sole judge of his own powers, he said, and then ruled for himself every time.

'He agrees to a compromise with members of Congress, and all of them are there for a public bill-signing ceremony, but then he takes back those compromises -- and more often than not, without the Congress or the press or the public knowing what has happened," said Christopher Kelley, a Miami University of Ohio political science professor who studies executive power.”

fucked up shit

Its probably because we are a nation built under GOD, as stated by our forefathers. What are you doing thats so aggrevating to be seen? Its not like they are taking like naked pictures of you. Mebbe, just MEBBE if you are supe sketch they would listen to like a phonecall, but what would that matter? You probably wouldn't even know that they know you are going to Albertsons to get the hamburger but you already have the buns and if Daves comin tonight too. Make sense?

God forbid you never do anything unconstitutional I bet?

If you think this is tryanny. Mebbe you should see what happened to the Kurds sometime. Which we as the US stopped by the way. I mean seriously, getting your phone call monitored is definitely like your skin slowly burning off your bones while you suffocate because the oxygen is being pulled from your lungs.

As for jumping into Iraq, I think he spent too much time doing it. In the amount of time they had of warning before we showed up they could have easily hidden pretty much ANYTHING they could have had. Its really not that bad, because if they did have WMDs you would probably be gone. And if a WMD did hit the US, who would you blame? Being the liberal you are, you would probably blame Bush once again. GOOD JOB. So as for Iraq. Putting on your seatbelt can be annoying, but you will happy you did it when you eat shit.
