Yet another all mountain daily driver recommendation thread, for a smaller skiier.

Hello all. I am looking for some daily driver recommendations but haven't been seriously shopping for skis in about seven years. I am 25 years old, 5'1", 130 pounds, and an advanced skiier. Currently riding 172 Line Lizzies (center mounted) for daily driving and the park, 178 ARTificial Nurtures (center mounted) for all mountain fun on days with a bit of fresh, and 178 Line Mr. Pollard's Opus' for pow days. I tend to ski pretty fast and aggressively and ride the whole mountain.

Here is what I want in an all mountain ski:

-100-110 underfoot with rocker in the tip and tail and preferably camber underfoot.

-170-178 in length.

-A playful/freestyle nature with geometry that allows for switch skiing in a few inches of fresh. I like to flip, spin, butter, and play around on the hill, so I am looking for something that will ski well at -1 or -2 from true center both switch and forwards.

-A playful ski that can still charge through crud and crappy snow, within reason. If one ski really could do it all, I wouldn't be looking for my fourth pair of skis.

-A medium soft to medium flex ski. My ARTificial Nurtures and 2014 Line Mr. Pollard's Opus' both have flex patterns that I really like and would like in my next pair of all mountain skis.

I've had my eye on the Line SFB's, the Faction Candide 3.0, and the ON3P Cartel 108 (might be too stiff), among many others. Some recommendations would be appreciated if you know of a ski that might meet these requirements. The flex of the ski is the final deciding factor for me, as the other requirements are fairly easy to meet. But it's tough to judge without riding them and it's even harder for me to make it to demo days and luck onto skis I want to test in my sizes.

Sorry for the essay folks. Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for constructive responses.

faction ct 2.0

stiff enough to charge around for sure, has some play to them if you can get your weight in the right place, fully symmetrical sounds like what you're looking for to me

Fully symmetrical is not the way to go when considering fast / aggressive all mountain skis.

No mention of fast/aggressive skiing. the closest he comes to is charging through crud within reason.

So what's wrong with a symmetrical ski such as the CT 2.0 or a Rayzrblade (Layzrblade??) 105??

Nothings wrong with a symmetrical ski, but if you're looking to ski fast and aggressive there are better options.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll check those out. I am definitely leaning towards a ski that is wider at the tip than it is at the tail, that in a very loose sense of the word is still directional. I like to ski switch but I definitely want the ski to be able to charge forwards. After all I I will spend less than 20% of my time switch on these skis, as they'll spend a lot of time in terrain that isn't very fun switch (moguls, choppy crud, tight trees, and end of pow day chopped up groomers).

The Ahmeek from Shaggy’s skis killer all mountain ski exactly what you’re lookin for and 105 under foot smaller brand but exactly what you’re looking for
