Yet another 3 with grab questions

I search barred it but my problem is pretty unique. 1. i always am pretty crouched down when i go into the jump, knees bent and all, and when i pop off my toes so i down go corked while spinning i jump up and stretch out i guess so im standing up straight in the air (thats the only way i know how to pop) and then i can never get the grab because i bend my knees, unbend then, and then have to bend them again.

2. Whenever i go in to do a normal safety 3 with my right hand i always end up just trying to grab leading safety with my left. I don't know why but its wierd. thanks for the help
 
sounds like your having trouble putting the trick together...the trick as is follows: spin + grab = profit

what you should try doing is floating some nice big 180s and adding a grab at the apex of your jump to get the feel for spinning + grabbing.

after you do that a few times, go for the 360 and just remember what you were doing for your 180s.

and don't forget that it's spin THEN grab.

often times i forget this myself. i'm too focused on doing the grab and forget about spinning and when i get up in the air, my body locks up and does whatever it wants.

what helps me is to talk yourself through it, kind of like garret russell. i tell myself to pop, spin, grab, and stomp, then i sing gangstas paradise to myself to help with my afterbang

1sounds like your doing the right thing with the pop. Coming in small and then standing up. But as you extend for the pop think about pulling the knees up to your chest right after. So its like small-pop-pull(your feet up) Try a few tuck jumps on the ground then do some tuck 3s. this will help the muscle memory.

2this is because your opening with the left arm and thinking about the left arm. as for your right arm its most likely up in the air. To fix this set more of the spin with the left and let the right hang so it can grab
