Pretty lucky that we got the snow we got in utah... its gonna be dry for the next week at least
 
same here. we got some sweet early season snow, followed by rain, followed by a current dry spell. luckily the rain made our base solid, with a enough of a "dusting" so we are skiing pretty awesome pre season conditions - but "proper" ski season my be on hold for at least a week or two.
 
I fucking hate people like you. Who cares how much other people ski? Maybe he has a job and can only ski weekends or has a ton of school work and hasn't had time to drive up or maybe he just didn't want to ski! shocking! Just because you ski so much more than he does, which is a choice not a requirement, doesn't mean you can give him shit.

i have been sitting here shitting my pants every day realizing that mineral basin may still be closed when i come. basically i should bring the snow with me it looks like on the 17th-23rd :)

i was joking around the other day saying that if shit doesn't improve i won't even leave the airport and I will just book a flight to vancouver.
 
got a solid 3 days of skiing this year so far, hoping to go next weekend but it loks like that wont be possible
 
did some hiking and jibbing today on the 40 foot patch of man made snow my mountain has blown and who knows when they will actually open. but hey its still skiing and today was awesome so im not complaining
 
hopeing my home resort opens before christmas, but this dry spell is killing me. The whole next week is supposed to be cold and sunny.
 
Seems like that mondo high pressure in the Pacific has given the ol "fuck you" to everywhere west of the Rockies.

There is some snow at my home mountain but not nearly enough yet to ski, DARN IT I WANNA SKI.
 
yes! It's finally dropping under 0 for the whole next week, Promises loads of snow, too. I so wish that our local center would start making snow
 
headed out for day 10 right now. shitty season we've only got like 12 trails ope so far.
