Yes new snow

Hey- anyone who lives up in Tahoe give us the scoop whats goin down up there. Weathers sayin round a foot at the base of alpine with around 2 feet on the summit by tomorrow morning...I wanna go up tomorrow even if the pow is shiddy its still pow and its still May...

Did anyone ski today???

 
This is awesome. I heard they might get a couple feet.

I didn't go today, but we went up to Alpine yesterday. It was raining up until you hit the bend before the parking lot then turned to snow. It was really wet, heavy, and it was coming down pretty good on the mountain. I wish I could head up tomorrow!

 
whatever...snow is snow! its may for christ sake! the weather is going crazy down here in sac man....sunshine, thunder and rain, sunshine, now pouring!

 
ok- went up yesterday. FUCT school-ski'd pow on May 10. it stopped snowin the night b4 and cleared out for the night. I guess it got cold enough on the upper mountain to dry out the snow cause it was NOT sierra cement above like halfway up the mountain. But once you hit like below peters(peril) the snow fuggin sucked. Plus by 11 everything was sun blasted. But still b4 11 on the upper mtn was f'ing fluffy and deep in some spots. The trees to skiers right of sherwood cliffs were knee deep and light. and the snow in the trees on skiers left of peters was prime also.

all in all an amazing may day, totally worth the trip. anyone else get up?
