Yelling stuff from the lift

is just plain stupid. stop it. i dont know who you were siver kid in front of my lift with you 2 friends at PC jupiter bowl yelling at like 40 year olds if they are Bode Miller, but it gets old after the 300th time. just stop, you are not funny.
 
yeah it does... i have taken my skis off and ran to the top of the lift to confront people who have thrown snow at me
 
at my local hill, the lift runs right above the park. my freind was about to go off a jump when some dickhead threw a snowball at him from the lift. it hit him right in the face, he luanched off crooked and when he landed he broke both his ankles. now whenever i see someone do that i yell at them like no tommorw
 
everyplace is like that now. if you dont stomp something perfect people are like bahaha u suck. and throw shit.

I always yell shit. Like when some dude is tearing down a line underneath my lift, I am always a' whoopin it up for him. Or like when someone busts a cliff, or throws down off a jump, you gotta give them something for the attempt. I guess thats a different kind of yelling than what you are talkin about.
 
get really good at throwing your ski pole like a javelin, that way the moment you get smacked with a snowball you can pull a "Zena Warrior Princess" and send your pole right through your attackers groin! SHAZAM!
 
the cheering... yes is good, but the put downs and everything is just plain ignorant. Everyone is out there trying, skiing and experimenting in a sport we are all familiar with, some better than others. In which we should support our fellow skiers unless you have a reason to hate. But the yelling and 'you suck' "poser" must stop.

i ski with some people who do this all the time and i just sit there and shake my head out of pity on account of how stupid and ridiculous they sound.
 
I give people props from the lift, but I only shit talk them if they have skiboards on. I enjoy yelling "get some real skis"
 
dude we were in our park last weekend and some idiot yelled at us from the lift and flipped us off, he wasnt good at skiing at looked like an idiot, so i told him to get down here and say it my face. we saw him and his buddys at the end of the day and asked him why he flipped us off and he said "cause i feel like it" this guy was clearly and idiot and a pussy so i just talked some more shit and he backed down, almost kicked his ass

point is dont talk shit to poeple from the lift unless u have a reason and are gonna back it up

sorry for such a long rant but it really got on my nerves
 
haha this reminds me, last year at killy they had a snowboard comp going on and all the people from the comp were throwin shit at the lifts so me n my brother and dad took like 5 snowballs each up and we'd destroy em, the ones around the dj booth of coarse, not on the jumps, and then we'd get killed by them, gooood time (on the park that was on snowshed last year)

but yeah besides that i dont do anythin
 
well somtimes, some boarders yell at us, when were on the lift, so we take snow(from my skis or friends snowboard) and shoot snowballs at them. only a couple of times thought, then it gets boring
 
The only time I yell is if someone is kill it I like to give um a shout out. Tell me, would it bother any of you if your hittin tricks and someone is yell hell yeah from the chair. Would that fuck with someones focus?
 
ILoveJen? God. Anyways, we really don't get to many put downs at my hill, when people yell things off the chairlift its usually because someone did something funny, or just cheering on.

I preferably yell "hammer it."
 
i think its pretty fun to thow snowballs at ppl riding up on the lift. they dont get hurt and they're fucking sitting ducks. nothing they can do to get out of the way. freakin awesome
 
yeah it depends on what and why your doing it. like if you yell at someone just cause they ski or snowboard and call them a faggot, then its gay. but if its like a guy on ski blades its ok, or if someone is just really gay. throwing stuff is always fun, as long as its not like rocks or something that would actually hurt. it pisses me off how some people get so mad when someone throws a snowball at them, and they have to be little pussys and threaten them and shit.
 
^yeah that pisses me off when ppl get that enraged over something so insignificant. one time last year, me and a few friends were throwing some water balloons out of a 4th floor window in my dorm, and one kid that we threw at (and missed, i might add) got soooooo fucking pissed. like he didnt even get wet whatsoever but he flipped a shit, and he was a big kid, so like i was tyring to talk it out with him and then all these other kids in my dorm came to my defense cause it really isnt that big of a deal, but the kid is such a meathead (thats his nickname) it took like 30 minutes to calm him down
 
stop the hatin, people are out there tryin to have fun until dumbasses with snowballs ruin everything
 
I also only yell at snowlerbladers. Although I usually opt for the extreme sarcasm.. like : NICE BLADES! THOSE ARE SO HOT BUDDY YAAAAAAHHH!
 
i enjoy lift riding up bit of a chat wif the randoms listens to them talk bout how fat my skis are and just chill in general
 
the only yelling i do from the lift is if someone is stopped or going really slow, i yell "HEY STEVE!" super loud. even if it's a woman, they almost always look around.
 
it pisses me off when me or any of my friends are throwing down huge and we just happen to not land and some idiots on rentals that can't even make it down the bunny hill without falling yell shit at you. makes me soooo mad. we always chase them down and they get sooo scared.
 
yeah it's fun to give props to someone that did something sick while your on the lift. but saying stuff like "Do a backflip" gets annoying. Didn't happen to me, but i was at a park a few nights ago and i heard "Do a backflip" like 20 times in a few minutes from ppl on the lift yelling to other people going to hit a box.
