Yearbook

I got a chance to check out Yearbook by MSP at the Toronto ski show last weekend...what has our sport come to? It's a god damn Tony Hawk game...if you can't 610 tail grab on, switch-up and 270 out with style you'r a nobody. But seriously, Candide's styled out 450 tails diaster on were niceeeeeeeee...

MSP has to stop the shit, 20 min segment on ski-base jumping??? It's entertaining for 30 seconds...McConkey (with all due respect) was talkin' about how they can NOW ski a lot different mountains/lines...but EVERY time they got dropped from the heli, it was a very basic, non-technical few hundred feet of straight lining to jump off a 500 foot cliff...

Tanner is in a league of his own. The kid is throwing grabs I've never even thought of before...he's tweaking them out with perfect tricks that compliment the grab itself...

All and all the film was dope, but the ski-base jumping in the middle killed the flow...too bad I'm stuck in Guelph till Friday and my copy of red tape is sitting in Toronto in my mailbox :(

Peace all over the east...

ya i thought the seg was a bit drawn out, but not to the boreing point. the great heli shots on the wu tang booter on the back of whistler are mind blowing, and some of the lines are outstanding. the girl's name escapes me at the moment, but she rips hard, and turns me on. speaking of turned on, the up-skirt shot with the leaf blower: genius

sarah burke or that ingrid backstrom i think it is, anyway yearbook had some crazy shots, but the music choice was horrible and well i don't even want to get started on the base jumping
