Its getting warm out around where I live. I decide it is time to purchase some shorts. I quickly realized that there seems to be three main categories for men's shorts.

1.middle schooler (gym shorts)

2.dad (cargo shorts)

3.golfer chad (do I need to explain?)

People on here are constantly talking about style and such. what sort of shorts are you guys rocking.

This. I wear boardshorts (at or slightly below the knee in length) when I swim or am around a body of water, otherwise it's pants or overalls if I'm working.

Neither got 6 or 7 pairs from my dad . He’s had them since grad school in the late 90s early 2000s

I've been wearing golf shorts for years, they're stretchy and breathable and look indistinguishable from other shorts. Theyre cargo shorts without the cargo pockets, its the play for sure.

Big fan of my mtb shorts for everyday stuff. They're comfy and have the right amount of stretch. Lots of brands have styles that are pretty casual too

I "borrowed" a pair of jeans from my buddy for a pondskimming contest once and ended up cutting them into sick ass short jorts. Paired good with my mullet. No idea how I didn't win that year.
