Yall ever ski with depressing music

It depends on the mood and how in pain I am.

if I’m feeling good and it’s sunny and I’m doing laps I’ll blast some grunge or some 90’s rap.

if I’m seshing a rail I’ll blast extreme metal
 
ngl sad boi soundcloud rap is what gets me sendy. it gets you in the mindset that "sending is a win-win situation because if you land it you get a nice adrenaline rush, and if not then maybe you get to be yeeted off this planet by a tree or a rock."

OP, what exactly are you listening to? Give me five bands you think are emo and I might have some good suggestions for you.

I prefer heavier music for skiing, generally something with a lot of breakdowns.
 
I listen to a lot of 21 Pilots skiing and that shit can get wicked emo.

21 Pilots even does a cover of a My Chemical Romance song about dying of cancer FFS.

Check out Vagrant Records late '90s and early '00s releases, same time period for Victory and Matador.

Then listen to the very earliest release on Dischord as those are true emo in it's very purest form, very little in common with panic at the disco, mcr type music.

Yeah if I’m in a super bad mood/ that’s pretty rare if I’m skiing though, so only when something is really wrong

Some of my park playlist is kinda sad ig but I feel like that’s different somehow
 
I would never turn on something to ruin the stoke of the day. 99% of the time im skiing I have on Pretty Lights but sometimes Ill bast some super generic Euro Techno if im bombing groomers.
 
Yeah i'd like to put on some WEEZER and GREEN DAY so I can curl into a fetal position on the chairlift and cry in my balaclava

had the opportunity to see him in concert in Minneapolis Thursday but I live in Duluth (2.5 hrs away) and had 2 exams the day after so couldn't send it :( super bummed
