I would have put Hornbeck and also Tim McChesney in this year's Real Ski before Khai and Magnus. Nothing against those two, Khai's actually my favorite skier, but Hornbeck has been putting out banger street parts every year (except last year) for the past decade or so. And for McChesney, he's one of the best street skier in the world, and has been putting out insane full parts year after year for the past 5 years.
As for Khai, although he's one of the best rail skier right now, I feel like he hasn't quite left his mark in the streets yet, compared to Hornbeck and McChesney, who would have been my picks. Khai's only had two full parts, one with TSP a while ago, and one with Level 1. And in the past two Level 1 movies, while he had some good stuff in the streets, he didn't have a whole lot of footage.
Same sort of thing with Magnus, he had a banger part in Less, I don't quite remember what he had in Finito as his footage was spread out, and last year he only had shots in the Russia segment with Level 1.
I'm not saying that these two don't deserve it, not at all. They're "up and comers" and I'm sure they'll fuck shit up with their parts. It's just that IMO, guys like Hornbeck and McChesney have been in the game longer, and they've consistently been putting out full parts, and it would have been their chance right now to take part in Real Ski, especially for Hornbeck.
