Xbox 360 and PS3 DEBATE

We cannot compare them yet beacause its not out but i guarentee that the PS3 will be much better than the xbox why do u think the xbox came out before the competition because microsoft knows sony is going to blow it away
 
Xbox 360 is getting resident evil 5 I so wanna play that shit, but as soon as PS3 comes out it willl blow Xbox 360 out of the water it did at e3 and their not even finished yet SO HA! as long as they dont fuck up like Xbox did and put too small of fans in they will be fine.
 
yeah im sure everybody at microsoft will tell you that the xbox 360 isnt half as good as the ps3...
 
well yeah i mean PS3 has been in development for a LONG time. they have released 2 versions of xbox in a what 5 year period. 2 years after PS2 was released in '98. and its been 8 years now since a new sony release. its gonna rock microsofts box
 
Why I buy PS3 instead of xbox:

The biggest reason for buying a console should be the: GAMES. I dont care if 360 have better or worse specs. Xbox had no good exclusive games(exept amped), all the good games on x-box got released on all other platforms, or games came to x-box one year later after they came on PS2. Im buying Ps3 because I wanna play games like the MGS series, GTA series, GT series. Sony have contract with the best game developers. But some like x-box, and some like ps3. this debate will never end anyway.
 
quit post whoring. i think that the ps3 will be a little bit better because of the 7 controllers you can have. both systems are backwards compatible, run at just about the same gHz, almost same graphics (different graphics cards), and can do just about the same amount of stuff. even teh price isn't going to be that much of a difference from what i have been reading (less than $100). The PS3 will be better but I am still gunna go with the xbox 360 because I have an xbox.

I think that the company that launches their system last will be better. Except for Nintendo, they suck.
 
ps games are shallow. there I said it.

the only problem is that if I go to a video store to rent games, anything that's a port I wouldnt touch. I mean sure GTA is awesome, but I have it on my computer- xbox games would require an upgrade

and btw MGS lovers I found the glitch in the game that doesn't make it fun anymore. I passed that last one (on that annoying orange rig) in under an hour...
 
xbox 360 is not backwards compatable, SORRY.

it will be emulators, thats what they say for now. maybe in the future u can play xbox games on 360 but right now u cant
 
I kinda am looking into the Revolution. it's gonna have a totally different type of game play... I'm looking forward to that, plus it'll be cheap, so it might not have the top CPU or top graphics, but the game play will be unique.

As for the other two, I still believe that PS3 will take the cake, even with Xbox360 having the early lead.

Competition= good because we benefit the most from two companies duking it out for better technology. Look at ATI and Nvidia, they're duking it out and we're getting games with better, smoother graphics that would have been unimaginable 10 years ago. We are getting graphics processors that make games look better than many computer graphic scenes in older movies.
 
I think the main deciding factors for a gaming system is the games and how they play. Both systems if you put the games against each other match up quite evenly and are pretty much split down the middle. But xbox360 has a universal online system which PS3 doesnt have. Online is what makes games amazing and xbox just makes it so much easier. But if we're doin it this way than the PC beats out everything anyway.
 
ok- just try running through the 'stealth' parts, run past the guards, allow the alarm to go off, and quickly load up the next room before the firing squad moves in.

i mean god how easy is that. the alarm just stops for the next area...

just killed the game.

but i will admit that I spent hours trying to get awesome scores on the VR missions, that kicked ass
