This trailer didn't really get me stoked at all... I just... I dunno. Usually when the new trailers come out I get super stoked but this one had no such effect.

i know what you mean...i think it seems more like a documentary of sorts...like, it'll be sweet as hell to watch cause it'll show where skiing has gone in the past 10 years, but in terms of insane new shit which is what film companies have seemed to go for in recent past years, i think that it might be lacking

^I agree man, although the trailer seemed to indicate that they will place some emphasis on the progression of skiing over the last 10 years (which I personally think is a very good thing) I think the main emphasis of the movie will be on what skiing has become, which is really nothing short of amazing. I personally thought the trailer was pretty sick as it is but beyond that I really don't think it's an adequate basis of judgement of what the movie will be like on the whole. Beyond that I think the reputation pbp has built for themselves and the lineup of riders in the movie really speaks for itself. Every year they've made movies that are very progressive and for lack of a better way of putting it mindblowing and I really don't see any reason to believe that this, their tenth anniversary movie, will be any different.

i know what you mean, like i saw all the low key companies come out with the just mind blowing trailers, and then there was the Poorboys one, and who knows, maybe they didnt release their sickest shit, but its nice to see the up and comers kiiilling it.

yep same feeling here, sure the skiing was good, but in recent years when i see new trailorsa i usually yell in awe for my hwhole house to hear, this year i was like whoa that was cool...

damn i hope im not losing my love for skiing

this was my favourite trailer so far. ever. The editing and skiing was at such a higher level.

Yeah really steve like ive said time and time before youre a try hard. That video had some of the highest level of skiing i have seen yet, how did that not get you stoked.

On another note all that footy was new, i thought they would be showing stuff from teh ten years before in the trailer cause i thought that was teh whole deal with this film...

With Happy Dayz, there was the water tower stall which, many of you have probably seen before and deemed unoriginal, but when I first saw that I was so stoked. And the urban rails and stuff.

With Ready Fire Aim I was stoked on Chrichton's last shot.

With this one, that shot of Pete was pretty sick but it just... didn't do it for me.

i'm pretty stoked from this trailer, for sure. I think the WKI106 trailer makes me more stoked, but both do the job well. In this 'best segments' movie, i hope Vinnie's seg in Propaganda makes it, for some reason i just love that segment

I don't know man I was pretty damn stoked. Jon's jumps were all supa tight especially that switch 9 of the big ole booter. And that switch 5 near the end off the cornice was so smoooth. I can't wait and since Sage is in it I'm supa stoked.

the dumont's cab 5 critical dropping very far was so sick, and my favorite shot out of all of them was Olenick's follw through on that 5 blunt, not only was that 5 blunt steeze, that air follow was sick, over that rather large table, woooo hhoooo

I'm with steve. I though WSKI 106 was a better trailer and it got me more pumped up with the wallride to rail set up. I'm not saying X was bad I'm just saying Jonny and the boys have done better.

i agree with steve here, wicked and firstlight stoked me way more then this. This did have some sweet angles in it but i still havent seen anything better then in firstlight with the panning wooden urban 270 off to that monster cork 7 o fthe hip, those angles/music were so sweet

JF's backflip japan in the pip was the best part of X :P that was so sick because no one does straight up backflips in the pipe now

where was the big mountain? there were some backcountry booters, but that wasnt big mountain. The WSKI106 trailer was a much worse trailer too, it had party rap for music and much worse skiing.

Yeah there wasn't any big mountain but with treadway and Sage in it I'm sure there will be some good tuff in it. Yeah the WSKI trailer was super gay. It was all gangster and shit. That's not what skiing is about, trying to be all badass it's just lame. It's just too bad they got a lot of the goo driders for that one. I wish Pep and Pollard were in X instead.

i think they're holding back on us, once the video comes out it'll be nuts, i doubt there will be alot of documentary shit. And if it isn't as good, just get WSKI 106, that'll be intense.

I think the film will have everyone stoked! Seeing how far we have come from 1994-1996 until today will be really cool.

The way it flows, it just doenst.. all the segments almost have no link and if WSKi 106 goes for something diffrent im stoked.

And the 'best of' sounds cool, but It has to be well edited.. else its not worth buying after I have seen the footage. Heres an idea: you should make there segments evolve, kinda like JF cusson in happy days, but better starting with all there highlights from the past 10 years so it climaxes at the end.
