x-games this weekend, but not televised untill febuary

why arent they broadcasting the x-games live? they are this weekend but they wont be on tv untill feb. 1. whats up with this?

editing the footage so it looks all cool and stuff probably. i personally find the footage of the x-games a sad cheesy load of crap that only posers sitting at home who don't ski, snowboard, snowmobile, ect. watch and think they're cool for watching it...

I love it when my friend comes to school and talks about the latest bmx tricks and stuff when the dude doesn't even own a bike or any kind.

I get to go, my snowboarder friend got a condo from his friend and is taking me for the weekend. I get to see skierx and halfpipe. has anybody seen it live, how much better is it than on tv.

 
dont criticize people who watch it. I will watch it, and I ski. Anyways the skiing is all on after 10 o'clock so you can watch it when you are done skiing.

I was impressed with the commercials they aired. About 25% of the footy was of skiing, which means they are trying to hype it up, which means we will hopefully get more air time.

I'm goin up on Saturday for pipe and the concert. I'll also be in the area through Tuesday and at VAil for the USFSO that Thursday through Sunday

 
i am really glad that skiing now has the same events as snowboarding at the x games. that really is showing much more respect for our sport. i can't wait to watch the xgames. i went to the mt snow x games for two years writing stories for a daily paper, got a media pass, talked with all the pros, not just skiing. it was a cool experience. go boyd!!

 
Yeah, it's fine with me. I just don't want to know who's going to win beforehand... so nobody post it really obviously just have 'x-games results' forums. I want to watch the show not knowing who won.

i wish they weere still at mount snow, cause i was gonna go this year...but they moved em to aspen...ppfffffffffffff...at least this kid i know is in it...i think, hes an alternate, and rex thomas got hurt supposedly...and this kids only 15...so he will probably be on tv...which is wicked cool
