X-Games Halfpipe

Some observations mid comp:

1. The new format of two runs is counter productive for the riders and appears to be geared for commercial space. (This was an issue last night with snowboarding final)

2. How Kevin Rolland survived that crash I have no idea.

3. Perhaps a pipe expert like Simon or Justin would have been appropriate in the booth with Luke.

Rolland looked absolutely stunned when he got to the bottom on his last run.

Also too bad Gus couldn't put his down cause that would have been so good.

Agreed. 2 runs is absurd, it's a game of chance almost. Either play it safe or send, and playing it safe was the way to go this year

I haven't seen the whole event, but if a 71 score gets you on the podium in men's halfpipe, then there is clearly something wrong.
