ano, no fucking tanner hall, fuck that kid. if he really cares so much about skiing, now that theyve given him him his damn gold medal in pipe (even thoughe he clearly didnt deserve it....but we wont go into that), if he really cared about the progression, then he'd stand back and let somebody else win instead. Dominating the field forever (without changing your runs) isn't progression of a sport, that's being a douchebag!

yes, you retard, tanner hall dosen't care about skiing. seriously, are you THAT ignorant? it's not like he's going to give up competing just so somebody else can have a chance. others can easily fend for themselves, and if you were out there winning major competitions, would you stop? tanner is an amazing athlete, and a chill guy. try actually meeting someone and talking to them a bit to see what they're all about.

seriously one of the dumest post on NS. People do get mad at tiger woods for winning every event he's in. Its called striving for perfection. If the other riders cant beat tanner, thats their problem, not his. Have some respect for one of the sports biggest riders.

Adam Delrome, breckenridge, colorado - because he is the sickest skier out of summit county and doesent talk himself up at all when it comes to skiing. kid can land steezy 1080s and boost 15+ feet and is very humble. the kid doesent promote himself at all and basicly lives off of the money he makes skiing. the best part is, he is always so pumped on skiing and he will talk to anyone about it!

I totally disagree. I love Becker and all, don't get me wrong, but his style doesn't really lend itself to competitions. Going gargantuanly huge and spinning slow and steezy doesn't really get much in comps these days. it's sad, but true.

I want to see Mik D compete again.

IT MAKES NO SENSE, THE BEST ATHLETES SHOULD BE IN X-GAMES. HOW DO WE KNOW THEY ARE THE BEST IF THEY DON'T EVEN EARN THEIR WAY IN ANYMORE. NO MORE INVITATIONS NO MORE JUDGE PICKS. PUT THE TOP PROS AGAINST THE YOUNGER KIDS WHO WANT IT MORE THAN THEY DO. I guarantee if we still had qualifiers for skiers the x-games athlete list would be 90% different!!!

You can't blame Tanner for that, its the judges fault for giving him gold when he doesn't change his run rather than awarding it to someone who's doing something "progressive". If they did that than surely Tanner would be forced to throw some new shit in there and then you might get a different run from him. Given the judges decisions Tanner would be crazy to stand back and not do a run that he thinks might win him it- there aren't many pros who would turn their back on potential x-games gold plus a fat cheque and i don't think there are many people on this site who wouldn't throw a tried and tested run if they thought it would get them podium in a comp

exactly. stepping aside and letting the next best person win is not progressing the sport. let tanner do the same run and keep winning until someone gets something better and beats him.
 
it makes me mad when kids name the same fuckin names over and over because they dont no anyone esle...

bibby is one of the best skiers right now i think the kid is killing it but he doesnt always do very good in comps

Comb patton should def be in pipe along with laurent who deserved the win last year for his more then amazing run which was progression...7 to cab 5 to cab 9? come on
