Alright NS, I'm in the market to buy a 360, though dunno where I should get it.

I could get one for like $260 from Best buy (then theres all the costs after)

or

from my buddy who will sell his to me for $225. He's played it twice, so its almost brand new, but I'd have to get a harddrive, another controller, headset, new LIVE account, games and all that. Also I'd have to start off right away with the $50 for the LIVE for the year because his free month passed.

Would I be better off just gettting something new out of the package from a store with a new warranty and all?
 
if u buy the plain one it comes with like no space for memory, so you have to buy a memory card or a hard drive (just a shitload of a big memory card) the hard drive does some other stuff too
 
honestly go out and buy the premium system for 350... if you buy the arcade system at like 270 (or whatever it costs) you are gonna need a hard drive. just the normal 20g hardrive (which comes standard in the premium) costs about 100... the 120g (that comes in the elite) is pushing 200. with xbox you get what you pay for... and if you don't pay the right price bill gates gets to fuck you in the ass.

also the premium comes with marvel ultimate alliance and forza 2 fo free.
 
Don't buy your friends because 360's have horrible reliability and you definitely want the warranty.
 
buy your own, after getting all those excessories, your looking at spending more then you would for a brand new one
 
You should still get the warranty if you buy it from your friend, i bought my on ebay used and i got the red ring and i sent it in and got it fixed for free...
