What I'm thinking about is giving everyone 3-5 megs of space to make a little web page.. it would not cost any money, but there would be a newschoolers.com banner thing across the top (about the size of the one above, nothing too interfeering(sp?)). You would be able to link pictures from within NS, and depending on bandwidth usage, from outside as well.

I'm not sure about this yet, but it has crossed my mind too many times to not bring up for a little discussion.

At the present time, there is a lot of extra bandwidth on the server, so I might as well share it a little bit..

thats a damn good idea but if its gonna take up a lot of bandwidth id want to keep it faster and not have the personal sites

Perhaps it can a a kind of reward to those who donate; the more they donate, the more space they get. If its profitable that is.

i don't think it is a very bad idea at all. only that if you give it to people who donate and make the amount of space proportional to the amount you donate they wouldn't be donations anymore, they would be buying a website. speaking of which is it safe to send money through the mail from australia to Canada?

that'd be sick. but about the donation/proportion thing, not all people that donate will want to have the website, either that they wont know how to use it, or dont have the time or they just wont want it.

i'll donate like $15 in a week or so. its about time i gave something back to the site.

harvey definately make it something you have to earn somehow. if you're jsut giving it out some fucker is gonna come on here and just take up all the availible space. you know how some people are on the internet, always looking to screw something up. sons of bitches!

mike_hunt10 - i am a firm believer that Nick is infact dumb... I've never met the dude but he just seams like a huge tool... and to be completely in love with a chick off the net who doesn't like him... now that just makes you a big loser.
