Hey, im kinda new to this washington forum since i'm from michigan and all. But anyways next year i am gonna be a freshmen at Western Washington and just wondering who else on here goes there, or is gonna be riding baker next year.

i went to WWU, but didn't really care for it. there are a couple members on here that still go though: mtbakerskier (Grant Gunderson, 500000th year senior), powderprincess (Brooke, 2nd year) and mtbakerrules (Gideon, uh...third year?). ya, i was just a bitch and didn't socialize, plus i missed my girlfriend, so i sorta had a rotten time. i did ski a lot, but i also skipped a lot of school...but my priorities are straight. there is absolutely NO jib scene whatsoever...they are a few kids, but everyone hucks like a mother fucker....no style at all...there are a few (like 2) that can actually ski park solidly...all the other good skiers are straight up big mountain foos...they are good guys, but take skiing waaaaay to seriously and its hard to have fun because it is like a fucking business meeting on the hill. the park is getting sick, at the end of the season it was easily the best in wa (stevens had more tech shit, but no flow, baker had fucking flow). baker definatley weeds out the bitches and hoes from the playas...just don't be afraid to venture out of the park...it is however mt. baker, home of the sickest in (and out) of bounds terrain in the PNW. ya, the downers are it is like 1hr 15 from bellingham and all of the chairs are slow as fuck (no electricity...everything is diesel). i would stay for sure, but i can't take skiing that seriously and i am tired of riding alone. i will definately be hitting that shit up as much as possible...but i just can't handle the scene i guess...don't let what i said deter you, im kinda off on my own tangent...but ya, thats my take, son...shheeeeiit.

yeah ill be back up there this year, i think both grant and i will be back in bellingham in august

Baker is da shit, just make shure you get some real skis that are 90-100mm in hte waist, and dont bother with the jib sticks

yeah as for skis, i'm in between scratch BC's or Bandit B3. Any suggestions, my brother keeps telling me that BC's wont be wide enough or long enough for me in a 182.

western isn't too bad I kinda squeezed in cuz my grades sucked but I haven't talked to anyone who got turned down. Yeah I'm gonna be at WWU next year. is their a ski club or anything? we need to get the jib scene going and how do you people get to the hill?

I went to WWU last year, and didn't like it but I might be up there a few times to ride Baker and hang out with my buddies in Bellingham.
