So all that makes it wrong to mourn him? Just because he's a celebrity, doesn't mean he has no one whose life stopped when they heard he died. We are all very aware of how well we have it over here in the US of A, but it's still alright to mourn.

Here's how it happened in my mind -
He killed his wife out of a fit of roid rage and possibly his son too, or he killed his son to make sure nobody knew or because he didn't want his son to live with the thought of seeing his mother killed. Then, the next day, while off of his roid-rage, he kills himself because he can't live with what he did.

Wow I can't even believe what people are saying in this thread. Yes people die every day, just because we hear about Chris Benoit and not the last guy who got stabbed doesn't mean we think Benoit is better than everyone else.

no one would give a flying fuck if chris beniot was dead if they didn't know, but they know, so they are just passively posting a sympathetic comment. I'd hope that a soldier could understand that, but apparently not. If you go ahead and make a thread about how 8000 AIDS patients die a day, people way say, "Damn, that sucks, rip..." etc. etc. and everything they would say if a WRESTLING STARS death was brought to their attention.
