Just got back from study abroad semester so im pretty broke, but have also been working on a screen play and want to try my hand at the indie flimmaking thing, so if anyone would hook it up with a camera I would be greatly appreciated, I have a bunch of shit I would be willing to part with for such kindness
-Negative 40 750 fill down sleeping bag, stolen by homie who worked in store, used once, super warm
-bunch of outwear, XL mint green Quicksilver jacket, Xl black pants & tan pants, XXL rasta lion ghetto Gen-X coat, up to 4x hoodies, dope crochet hats
-Pear-a-fenalia (Zong, Sour, Hot Box Vaporizer to name a few) all clean...chron too
-I'm also a English/ Creative Writing major so maybe work out a deal where I get you A papers...
basically whatever you want to trade me I will try to hook it up and be forever greatful

I agree.. With everything... haha Legit deal. You could get a Nikon D90 with full HD and death of field n all for like 1000 bucks in a nice package. What sorta camera you lookin for man?

Does that mean you have one? i dunno a decent Hd camera or a dope one thats not, a good indie level camera, nothing too crazy... why you want to work some deal out

not that I have one, but I think your best bet is as stated above, a DSLR with video capabilities, 1 or 2 good mid-range zoom lenses, a shotgun mic, and a good tripod.
just advice on what to look for.

Well i have one, But REALLY LOVE it. And im not letting it go for a while. But Deals are all over the place. Just google D90. Look on Craigslist and on KSL. That would be the cheapest way to get Good Video quality.

well if you could read a little more thouroughly you'd prolly get that I know about KSL and the fact that im looking for a camcorder...

I would highly suggest this. Canon has the T2i for $800 for a body. I would suggest a H4N instead of the shotgun mic if you are serious about film making. But if you really want a camera I'd suggest selling your stuff and saving up because it will be worth it. But I'd stay stick to Canon but I'm biased.
