Come downstairs to see my mom and pops watching Will Smith bitch slap Chris Rock over and over again. Anyone know what’s going on? Is it legit? Opinions on it?
 
Chris Rock took that pretty fucking well. I love how he was like, I could go there, but I won't, and that's all he needs to say. Will needs to break it off with Jada and be happy again.

Honestly I loved to see it. I like the direction Hollywood is heading with men standing up for their family and significant others. This has been long overdue. We see it with Kanye to. Men should love and stand by their family.

What makes you highly doubt it was fake?

Why didn't anyone from security, or even people around them, try to stop will from walking up in the middle of the show? Thats only part of what does it for me, but the overall vibe (weird, makes no sense) and the fact he slapped him and neither had anything else to say/do about it also makes no sense at all.

pretty sure will hit his foot on the ground at the same time as he 'slapped' chris, a slight of hand and audio used in WWE and such to make it seem like theyre hitting them.

Its all fishy as fuck and fake as fuck, everyone (including you) are reacting exactly how they want you to react, its all bullshit.

Nothing on network tv is genuine and not scripted, don't get too tangled up in it.

Yeah he's an actor that get's paid millions to act. That's what he does. Also, they didn't "let" him drop the f-bomb, it was censured on the actual network broadcast.

Also, there's no security? An asshole can just stroll right on stage and assault the host, AT THE OSCARS, walk back to his seat and chill, and no one AT ALL from security raises as much as an eyebrow?

And what about the fact they both had grins on their faces immediately as it happened as Will turned to walk away? And Rock literally had no reaction, didn't even touch his cheek, no watery eye, no redness no swelling - nothing. People that take a shot to the face do not look or behave like that.

Shit looks like political theater to me. And it worked as the incident, Rock, Smith and the Oscars are trending worldwide harder that Russia/Ukraine.

Tbh gut feeling is part of it. I too think 99% of tv is fake as fake can be. Having watched wills arrogance escalate over the years, along with his sense of entitlement, the “way” he walked up etc had that arrogant fresh prince vibe when makes me think he regressed and succumbed to his primal instincts, I’ve honestly been waiting for years, he has a lot of pent up anger and family issues

There was a response from both will and Chris. Initially Chris made a comment about gi jane which will didn’t like neither did his wife cause of her hair and affliction with alopecia (sp)? ??‍♂️ Then will slapped him and walked away, Chris says damn I got rocked blah blah and will did say some crap about watch yer mouth or whatever

I’d say security didn’t make a move bc it was unexpected, it was will smith a star, not a rando , it was short lived and not violent enough to warrant more activity as will walked away and Chris didn’t pursue.

Others did respond lightly in a verbal manner towards will it just wasn’t focused on.

I vote it was real.

Its not an insult, it's a fact, your generation (baby boomers) is still watching primetime tv and watching it through their cable box when the show premieres, etc. This generation is my parents and basically all of my friends parents, etc.

I'm not trying to single your out sorry if it felt that way, of course everyone is different, but i would expect someone from your generation to believe it was real.

It seems like you've done more research than me, but watching that video its pretty obvious it was a play to get more views for the oscars and guess what? were talking about it, so regardless if it was "real" or not, the attention they are getting is real.
