WTF rossignol

why would they replace brakes if you broke them, you can ask them to buy new brakes and it will be $40

Correction... I asked if I could PURCHASE brakes for the FKS series... I was told that they do not sell brakes separate from the bindings. That is lame.

They may have phased it out for the old ones.

You can get replacements for the new fks in varying sizes. Go to a dealer. No company is going to sell direct to the consumer.

We have a five year warranty on all of our binding products, so as long as its within warranty, we will cover you.

Because of how the fks/look binding is assembled, we can not offer the purchase of just brakes, it is not simple to remove/replace these brakes like others on the market. Trust me, I wish we could, but there are liability issues with doing so.

Best bet is to visit a look/rossignol dealer, and see if they can help you out, or to send your complete bindings back.

Send me an email, I will also see if I can help out.

Yes he did, and I emailed him. I guess I wasn't being very clear with my original post...

The goal was to purchase one pair of FKS 180 bindings, and use inserts to be able to swap them between different pairs of skis. The only problem is that one pair of brakes will not fit a 130mm waist and a 100mm waist. There is no way I could ever afford 3 pairs, so unless I can figure out a way to swap them, I might have to buy some Markers... bleh.
