what the hell is up with all the look, rossi, dynastar , etc. bindings are their shitty break system.God dammit im sick of it! I went through 3 pairs last season , then i went to ride my brand new 2011 silencers with look jib ti's and the fuckin break piece gets screwed up yet again on my first hit!

is it just me with this horrible luck? what should I do to prevent this?

feedback appreciated

I've always had bad luck on breaks on all my bindings other than the old pivots, solly was always the worst. Just got a pair of the SAS 14s and im hoping the breaks hold up im liking them so far.

Not just LOOK. I went through a pair of tyrolia and marker brakes last season. Its just something you have to put up with as a skier.

well everytime I see someones breaks lying around...it always is the shitty look, rossi, dynastar design....WTF you dont see this happening with marker nearly as often

This is one of the reasons I REFUSE to ride with the PX/Freeski series bindings, not only are they heavy but their brakes are ALWAYS coming apart in some what or another. I used to just get a bunch of replacement brakes and keep them with me at all times cause they just get destroyed on the regular.

with my silencers it makes for not to heavy of a setup

besides the fact that the break system is absoulety horrible...I find my jibs to be descent, but my old rossi sas2 where awful

overall i see what your saying..the px series is pretty awful. Some of the higher class models can be ok though

my brother rode px12s last year and cracked the break. he has had problems ever since even after replacing the breaks... he is also 12

true even though people say the marker griffons are plastic i have not had them break on me in 2 seasons

Different topic (kind of), but how hard would it be for all binding manufacturers to get together and just make a universal brake that will fit on any brand of binding?

i have rossi scratch 120s, rossi freeski 120s, rossi sas2 140 ti, and another pair of scratch 120s and i have never had a pair of brakes break.

i guess i am just lucky.

for real?

you must really, reaaaalllly lucky if you ride much park..

they have a a real problem with going down when stomping tricks to switch resulting in brake explosion.
