Wtf is up with the PNW weather

I have seen more lightning in the last week than I have my entire life living here. #currentlyshittingmypants

Yea the air above us is unstable and prime for thunderstorms allowing the cumulus punch through intro the colder air above. I saw the clouds growing last night and could tell that our atmosphere was quite unstable. This morning was fucking sick though where I lived tons of booming thunder and I even saw a couple cloud to ground strikes. The mountains are also helping in create these showers most coming off of the cascades. I have been hearing thunder all through out the day and I think the same is inshore for tomorrow.

To me weather can be so interesting. Observing big storms is whats good.

I wish we would have lightnings. But no, its 5 minutes sunny, 20 minutes raining, 5 minuted sunny, 20 minutes raining.

Or then just rainy all day. This summer is worse than fall.
