Nothing wrong with some second hand shopping or dumpster diving, but it does look like a little girls snow suit from the late 80's early 90's.

I think it's sick. It's weird. He's supporting a brand that emphasizes the artist and that's cool.

It's a brand that has done nothing for skiing and probably won't do anything in the future, tbh this just seems like a designer street wear brand leeching off of our community.

So? How are they leeching off our community? Because they’re supporting a skier a lot of people like?

How is it different from someone rocking rebok or thrasher on hill? They’re stoked on a brand, they’re gonna wear it, even when it’s a streetwear brand that has little to no involvement with our sport. Hot take, but let people wear what they like and want- it’s got no effect on you.

I never said he couldn't wear it, I just think if you're going to drop 600 on a ski suit it's better to support a company that might give something back to the community

There's only two kinds of people who wear that god damn dragon shirt.

1.)Autistic trailerpark kids that smell like totinos, camel lights, and diarrhea.

2.)Magnus

Two things- owner of that brand is a skier and he gave Magnus the kit.

That's totally cool, I'm not being critical of Magnus and for the record I would wear pretty much anything if it was given to me for free.

I'm just saying that as a consumer, there's no way I'm going to support this brand just because they gave Magnus a ski suit. It's cool that their owner is a skier, but unless they start putting out their own content or funding cool events like rail jams or TAFT I'm not going to view them as a rider-owned brand. If I'm going to spend hundreds of dollars on a ski suit, I'm either going to buy something from a big brand that will for sure be good quality or something from a smaller brand that's deeply invested in the newschool skiing community. If you ask me, KidSuper is neither of those things. Do they even have an NS account?

But most importantly, I think this ski suit just looks terrible. I don't think being able to design something that will look cool on the streets of NYC translates well to ski wear. In the city, everybody is viewing you from close up and the background is always some shade of brown/grey, so cool little details really pop out at you. On a ski hill you're always viewed from a distance up against a white background, which is why most ski wear is pretty simple and minimalist.

Oh, absolutely. Pretty much only looking to saga for outerwear or maybe some of the ski brands that also produce outerwear. If I had to guess, the guy running that brand isn’t interested in tapping into our market. More so using the clout of an x games gold medalist to impress those already tuned in to his brand.

wow i love the ski community so much and how we have heated debates about one picture of one guy and what he wore that day

“It’s style”

“he’s trying to be different”

“he has his own style”

shut tf up. The functionality doesn’t even look to great. You not impressing anyone Magnus

Aside from the kit being stylish or not, dropping 600$ on a kit that doesn't even have waterproof/breathability rating listed looks a little bit ridiculous if you ask me. just my 2 cents
