Depending on what you are looking to spend, keep an eye on ebay and local thrift store. I just ficked up a few year old Velbon Velflo 9 head on a set of Stratos 480 legs for $30 and it looks never used. Bogen and Sachtler make great stuff, but if you arent shooting profesionally, you can find decent fluid heads for much less.
