yeah mine broke too and they just swapped them out for me. you might need a receipt tho but maybe you can get a worker that doesn't care
 
ive talked to a rep and they say to just put todays date as date of purchase then list the problem. from there you cut the wire and send it off to skullcandies place. They will decide if you'll get a brand new pair or credit for some new one 30% off? depending on what you did to them. hope that helps
