dude I have been having some really hard times with the elastic on the Video Mic Pro being too bouncey and too close to the plastic, Lately when I have been moving around on a glidecam the elastic isn't keeping the mic portion separated and I am getting alot of RATTLE

try replacing the elastics, the mic comes with a bunch. yours probably got stretched out
