Wtb: a laptop

Ok so I'd really like to have something to work with when I travel around to ski. I'm looking for something cheap that can run xp decently and hopefully with office, photoshop and hopefully, wireless internet acess.

please make me some offers.
 
dont have one to sell but dont get a toshiba. my last one sucked and always broke down and had to constantly be taken to the shop.

using a compaq now and its great
 
asus has these nice little laptops that run for about 400. they have linux on them, and I think flash memory. wireless internet runs great, and so do a few other little programs. but no photoshop

just go to new egg and check it out. it is a neat little machine.
 
i'm digging my acer right now. i haven't had too many experiences with other laptops but i like it better than my friend's at school. i've abused it a little and it's doing well. lemme know if you look into them ced.
 
dude macs r the way to go. so sick and reliable. if you can find a good deal on a mac go for it. Such quality equip.

also don't go with a dell. the have gone with a new parts supplier recently and their quality has gone down the grade. compaqs r the niceswt these days, next to macs :).
 
you must have had a shitty toshiba. they are by far some of the best on the market if you're willing to pay a little bit more for them. Mine has been incredible so far. I know a bunch of computer science majors that swear by them and so does my friends bro who works for google. they are the shit.
 
I have a Fujitsu and I was suprised by how legit it is. I have had no problems and it runs awesome. They don't come cheap though so that doesn't really help.
