WRX or S4?

ya i like the 2.7 Twin Turbo in the older ones, the newer ones have just put larger heavier naturally aspirated engines in to create more hp...

I wish I had to make a decision like that. Instead, I have to decide between one-ply or two-ply.

Soon enough. But I'd say long-term value, WRX. Short-term/resell value, S4.

if you looking for something long term get a wrx, i just got an 06 wagon with only 15,000 on it for 14K and im planning to drive it into the ground. my roommate has an 04 s4 sedan which he got for 17K but it 70,000 on it and he already has had to get a few things fixed and now he just found out that its gunna be 2 grand to fix his AC. i love s4's but unless you have the money to keep them running, i would go for the wrx, they are plenty fast and can be made faster very easily

S4, beware of German maintenance costs though. Audis tend to have electrical issues, so research the year model first.

I drive a 2004 A4 1.8T

fucking love the car

my friend drives a 2003 A4 3.0

The NEW S4 is just the 3.2 liter A4, but its a little nicer than how they used to make it. its still a beast of a car

But you cannot chip it, i believe. The 1.8t or the newer 2.0t are the cars that you could really mod, the 3.0 liter engines were very limited, and i guess sitll are. APR does not have a chip available for a 3.2 liter S4

audis are great though, powerful, smooth, good looking, and just a fun car. if you maintain it, it will be fine. i've had the stealership want to fix some parts for $800 (parts and labor) and i just ended up doing it myself for absolutely free

if your going to get a wrx just get the sti. but subaru for long term that shit will last you 300k

finally somethin different than the usual subi vs. audi debate
s60r is badass..a little pricey when compared to the other two and expensive parts, but will definitely hold its own

love the looks of those cars but i'd want an awd wagon, and im not sure if the s60r is made as an awd wagon? correct me if im wrong...also they are rare and expensive like you said

check out the V70R if you are looking at a wagon. Those things mob.

Also, my car is a V50 T5 AWD that is a 6 speed manual and i really like it. not quite as fast but it has turbo and definitely gets the job done performance wise..definitely looks way better than subis or audis in my opinion as well.

Price-wise volvos are around the same as audis and the parts cost around the same.

here's my car (the v50):

not the greatest picture but it's all i have and you get a good idea..

I dont know all that much about cars and im not 100% sure about this but ill try.

It was mentioned before, if your going for a long term car, get the Subaru, you can kick the shit out of those things and they will still work well for you. my 93 leagacy survived 4 or 5 kids learning how do drive on it another 2 or 3 learning how to drive stick, and it would still make 6 hour drives to maine (from CT) up untill about a month ago the cars are really well built.

Also, the sti model is about 10k more than the wrx (i think), but for less than that you can make a wrx absolutely wreck an sti, so if you wanna build it up, again i would go Subaru

The Audi will seem more original though, its true that a lot of people have the wrx, but its because they are nice cars i guess.

I have never met someone who doesnt love their Subaru so ill leave it at that.

But which ever one you get, youll love it. they are both nice cars
