WRONG MEDAL FOR SKI BIG AIR?? SAME TRICK TWICE!

but look at the videos.. if so, that trip 14 must be hes 38.00 score with no video attached. He's score should be lowered then. haha

I know! Exactly what I thought! But henrik should've had his shit together and gotten first. He's done that flat 1 before and could've prepared it during warmup. Also his dub misty 9 on his last hit was fucked. It was like a misty 5 to switch misty 3. But he unfortunately couldn't quite hold the rotation off and he fell... I think he could've prepared that a bit more too...

There definitely needs to be more variety though. Like how hard is it for the judges to understand that it's not that big of a deal to trip? A thirteen year old perfectly executed the perfect trip (trip 1080) with steeze and a sick grab tweak. And literally all those guys can throw triples. And tons of other guys can throw trips outside of that competition. Like abm did a trip 10 blunt a few years back that sick than anything they threw.

And spinning a 1620 isn't that "amazing"! I can't believe I can't remember his name but quite a few years ago he threw a trip 1800 on some random jump.

Bobby's dub misty ten was sick. Different. Nice grab. Super clean but still sick. Only scored a 40... What? Just so many basic principles in how to rate a trick being misunderstood...

There is no rule that says you can't do the same trick twice.

There is no rule, But last year the judges said that if you did the same trick twice, you would get a shit score on it

Now X games isn't FIS but it;s pretty damn close.

The final score of each competitor will be the two highest scores from of the 3

jumps performed. These two jumps must be different. If only two jumps are

performed the highest individual score will count

Jumps are different if there is:

− a different direction of approach to the jump e.g. regular / normal stance or switch

stance.

− a different take off e.g. Frontside or Backside

− Straight front flips / straight back flips

im not sure that either of those would have put him on the podium even if they were clean. Gotta respect the dude for not hopping on the triple train though

I think it's just the law of diminishing marginal returns or more simply put, "if you do the trick more and more, it becomes less special or interesting" if there's anything special or interesting left in doing a triple.

I'm pretty bummed out that Bobby got silver because I know if they all got another run like the commentators were talking about he would've won and henrik harlaut probably would've got silver. It was a real nail biter, but props to bosch for really bringing his a game

I thought that was a dub rodeo not a misty

I wonder whos gonna land the first quad noscope

Lol. That shit is too dangerous to pull off. A triple noscopes is already so much rotation before so much no scope. Quad would be way too much to be physically possible. Just too dangerous.

Also it would make the sport so robotic and uninteresting. Players just spinning as much as they can on full sensitivity and randomly shooting is just so unstylish. Pros need to start doing more diverse and creative equipment switches in their no scopez spinz

Everyone should be forced to play Quake 1 on pentiums.
