Texting while intoxicated over a toilet= dropping my phone in the toilet

I got it out quick. It was spazzing for a while held the top button and i got the power off option but it wouldnt slide.Screen shut off. I haven't tried turning it on. It's sitting in a cup of rice on a heater drying out.

Will it work again? I need it to. Anyone have any advice that will help me?
 
Turn it off, don't try to power it on. Put it in a ziplock back full or white rice. keep there for 24 hours.
 
LOL, I was peeing and texting them BOOM right into the toilet. I just sat there and stared at it. I did not think that would ever happen to me. I work at a cell phone store and hear about these stories all the time..lol
 
never take a call while youre taking a poo

cause in it will fall and you wont know what to do
 
My iphone was turned of when it got water damaged, never would turn back on even after days in rice. But I was able to sell it on ebay for $100 and it was the first 8gb model.
 
He did the right thing, I'd say leave it for longer than 24 hours. Give it 3 days to be safe, yeah its a long time, but if its even a little wet, it will short out and then it will be useless.
 
ya for sure man it will work.
my buddy got thrown in a pool with his in his pocket and stayed in for a second before he realized he had it.
threw it in rice for a day or two and it was money
