Would you get your skis mounted at dicks?

I go to PC on Friday and can't get them mounted at my hill, it being 1.5 hours away. Dicks Sporting Goods is my only option and for the most part in Kentucky, the employees there know nothing about skiing to my knowledge. It is my only option, would you do it?

I worked at Chicks Sporting Goods in OC, California, which Dicks bought out. They took out ALL the shop employees that knew everything about mounting, gear, etc., and put in retards that work for 8 dollars an hour.

Seriously, they WILL fuck your stuff up, gauranteed.

Just take your skis and bindings unmounted with you to PC and get them mounted there. There are plenty of good knowledgable shops in and around PC and if you call around ahead of time I bet they could get them mounted up for you when you bring them in so you won't have to wait more than 20-25 mins to ride. I do NOT advise getting them mounted at Dick's.

my skis don't have a "dicks" mark on them, and I haven't ever seen a ski that does. I'd recommend getting your skis mounted at center if you're going to be skiing PC.

there is a great video on mounting them yourself if you like to like dangerously.

i would personally trust myself over Dick's anyway

I wouldn't, but if you're really, really, REALLY desperate, mark out exactly where you want your bindings. Put a little dot where you want them to drill. That way, if they screw it up, you have proof that you did everything in your power to make sure they did it right. Just what I've learned from trolling teh threadz.
