Would y'all consider faction to be a big brand yet?

Personally, I don't think so. I ski in the east coast and barely see them. However, I just had a trip to Revelstoke, and faction skis are everywhere there. I believe that Faction has a resort deal or something because they are in the on mountain ski shop.

i saw a teen girl (couldn't be past the age of 16) the other day pizzaing down a groomer on a pair of ct 5.0s with her dad cheering her on saying things like "Yeah I told ya you don't need the mademoiselle"

I'd say they've penetrated into mainstream skiing

Until they make their skis in a way where they don't break like a bundle of toothpicks glued together I'm not gonna admit that they're big

tons of bigger companies have durability issues out the ass dude

Maybe not so in North America but they’re all over Europe.

The Faction home town of verbier is dotted with 1.0s and 2.0s which are pushed out by rental shops across town, which imo are a pretty decent deal over usual rental skis you get elsewhere.

Had a friend snap a pair of 3.0s last weekend doing a 3 off medium sized cliff. He didn't hit anything, just landed forward in deep pow. I feel like thats a situation where a ski should hold up. If you look on resale sites, there is a lot of people reselling individual skis because they broke one and couldn't get warranty. Never seen that with any other brand. Fuck Faction.

I don't support faction, if you look at my previous comment on another faction durability post two of my co-workers have had skis break (especially the tips) over bullshit like that too. But it would be silly to say faction isn't a a large company because of durability. It's the same as saying jeep isn't a big company cause they have terrible reliability issues
