so i have this old bike jump dug into a little hill at my place, if i made a sturdy platform on the back so it would be a drop in, would it work? would it be too steep? would that be enough speed if i had turf and watered it down and with soap?

any help would be awesome

Depends on the height, the slope of the land and how high you want your rail.

thats what id do. build a rail on top to push off of for speed. that tranny would be way to hard, it could even hurt your skis, so you'd have to build off it. then turf it. might want to do construction fence on it for more speed too

no problem. something i noticed on mine before i smoothed the tranny out, is that it could even break you skis. that one looks pretty sharp, so i would definitely put your skis on it to see what it would feel like. same if you start to build a transition on it. lay your skis on it and see how much they would flex. hope everything works for you!
